Arbor Day Foundation: http://www.arborday.org/ I love this~They offer wonderful Give-a-Tree Cards. Kiva: I favor animal and environmental charities but wanted to support this because it is such a neat idea. This charity allows you to lend money to an entrepreneur in a developing country so they can lift themselves out of poverty http://www.kiva.org/

Almost forgot this one. Peta: www.peta.com They can be a little dramatic at times, but they do get results.
